I have to admit that Alexander Wang didn´t impress me with his first looks this time. But of course an Wang show can´t pass by without some surprises. From look 16 and out my mouth was literally wide open I think. The simple – yet special – ribbed pullovers with thick fur ribs, slim, slightly flaring pants (especially those with zipper details) and the turtleneck with the asymmetric hem made me change my mind about the collection. Not to forget the evening sweater, as seen at beautiful Gisele Bündchen, which didn´t just made me change my mind, it made me drool.
Balmain
"Welcome to my jungle," Olivier Rousteing said backstage. The modern safari chic style made the models look so sexy – even though the usual Balmain bare skin was gone this time. Rousteing´s cargo-pocketed designs, latticed leather, animal prints, draped tailoring and the huge bamboo hoops made me want to take the next plane to Africa for some safari – in one of his pieces of course!
