Since I'm not a "dress-girl" I'm always searching for elegant replacements that can be used both in nice occasions and at work/school. About a week ago I found the perfect all-around garment – a pair of high-waisted flared trousers – in no other store than Zara. Not only are flared trousers on of the most remarkable trends this season (and will be it the next season too), they're also – according to me – one of the easiest garments to dress up or down, depending on the occasion. If there is one garment I would definitely pack with me everywhere I go, it would have to be exactly this pair of flared trousers and this is why: Yesterday it was time for the first christmas dinner this year and this time there was no going home after work. So what do you do when you have to dress up away from home, in under an hour? You choose a pair of black flared trousers in the morning, add some pointy boots and the favourite knit and head off to work with only a neck-tie blouse in the bag (and your make up saviours). When the time comes, you just replace the knit with the blouse and you have achieved full chicness. Now, go flare it in your favourite pair of flared trousers!
