high street favourite ARMY BOOTS

Usually I'm not the boots type of girl, but these rock 'n' roll ladies from Zara (on SALE) had to come  with me. The boots are actually a really good copycat of Saint Laurent's 'Patty leather army boots' – which is maybe why I like them, since I adore almost everything Hedi Slimane is doing with Saint Laurent – but what I like more about these pair is the silver details around the shoelaces. It simply add some more rock to the boots (high five Zara, great work!). For their first walk in the streets of Oslo, I paired them with tucked-in skinny jeans, a knitted turtleneck in black and a black double-breasted coat. I can't wait to warmer days to arrive so I can wear them with all different kinds of midi skirts and light-knitted pieces.
